ca. 1800, 99 x 56 cm, South Sweden, Skane, Ingelstad District

The face of a yellow-ground seat cushion woven in the rollakan technique. The upper and lower horizontal stripes each comprise two large eight-petalled rosettes, while the central horizontal stripe shows a tile design whose cone-shaped segments are decorated with lilies and small crosses. The three sections of the field are separated by four narrow white dividing stripes.
