This set is made in the striking Vision pattern, which began production in 1961. This is a fantastic Mid-Century Modern pattern designed by Ronald Hayes Pearson, a very well known and respected American designer and jeweler. The pattern has a very modern, even futuristic look, with handles turned ninety degrees from how most flatware handles are oriented and sleekly tapered bodies/blades reminiscent of the iconic Midcentury 'fins' seen on everything from clocks to cars designed in this period. This set serves 10, though it is shy two butter knives and one oval soup spoon, and comes with a large size, versatile serving spoon, a sugar spoon, and a 2 piece salad serving set. Please note the counts listed under each piece in the second photo! The knives have stainless steel blades. The set consists of: 10 Knives—8 1/2 inches long. 10 Forks—7 1/4 inches long. 10 Salad forks—6 1/4 inches long. 8 Butter knives—6 5/8 inches long. 9 Dessert/oval soup spoons—7 3/8 inches long. 10 Teaspoons—6 1/4 inches long. 1 Sugar serving spoon—6 1/4 inches long. 2pc Salad Serving Set—9 inches long. Large Serving Spoon—9 inches long. Each piece is marked sterling as well as the maker's mark for International. This set is in excellent condition. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no damage of any sort, and no repairs. The weighable silver weight for the set is 2324 grams or 82 regular ounces.
