This WONDERFUL cotton sampler quilt is all hand pieced, hand appliqued, and and machine quilted, with the word "FRIENDSHIP" hand appliqued in the center. The quilt was most likely made in the early 2000s and the maker used high quality 19th century reproduction fabrics.
It measures 58" X 68" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.
There are feathered designs by machine throughout. A sleeve has been sewn on the top edge of the back, making this one suitable for use as a wall hanging.
The back is white, the hand stitched binding is indigo blue, and the batting is thin. The quilt was found in Scottsdale, Arizona.
