The dishes were made by the Mueck-Carey Co of New York, which likely became a division of Towle later on. The dishes feature a beautiful floral openwork design around the midpoints of the stems, similar to pieces by Georg Jensen and other Danish modernists. The dishes are spotlessly clean, polished to a bright mirror shine. These pieces are in great condition. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Each piece is stamped on the underside with the Mueck-Carey Co maker's mark as well as sterling and the number 1115. Each dish is about 7 inches in diameter and about 3 1/2 inches tall. The total weight for the pair is 482 grams or 17.0 regular ounces.
