The Yankees trained in Fort Lauderdale during spring training, and the lot includes the original mailing envelope postmarked March 30, 1964, just days before the start of the 1964 Major League season.

The 1964 Yankees would go on to win the American League pennant behind a roster filled with many of the signers represented here before facing the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. Also included is a cardboard coffee lid signed and inscribed by Yogi Berra. A nice grouping of period Yankees signatures tied to the club's spring training home in Fort Lauderdale.
