Description
A piece from the star's "Marilyn Monroe Productions, Inc." account at the Colonial Trust Company in NYC; dated "June 4, 1960," typed out to the "Beverly Hills Hotel / Bungalow 16 / Room 204" in the amount of $3,913.70 (which is about $40,000 in 2026 money!), signed in blue ballpoint ink in the lower right corner "Marilyn Monroe," with normal cancellation stamps and punch-outs; Marilyn and Arthur Miller stayed at the famous hotel during the entire production of her 1960 20th Century Fox romantic comedy, "Let's Make Love," hence the hefty amount.
