Mid Century Modern Massimo and Lella Vignelli for Knoll International Handkerchief Chairs in Red - 4 Piece SetThis Handkerchief chair was designed by the husband and wife team of Massimo and Lella Vignelli in 1983 when they returned to Knoll. Using compression molded plastics, they conducted a fabrication and design investigation that lasted 5 years, and ultimately captured the lightness and organic ease of a handkerchief drifting in the wind. These vintage 'Handkerchief' chairs are in a classic and bold red. Chairs are made of red compression molded fiberglass and black steel wire. These chairs are stylish and super durable and will add a fun pop of color to any room. We use high end fabrics/hides/leathers/mohairs/boucles/velvets/etc., we replace the foam with high density foam (other foams are available if you preffered something different), just let us know and we will make it happen. Springs/straps/webbing are tightened/replaced/adjusted as needed. We bring the item fully back to life. We also offfer quality fabrics for a great prices and can get the job done in about 2-3 weeks (or if you need it done sooner just let us), as we have 3 upholsterers on staff so we can always rearrange some things.
