Early Spool Cabinet

Description

This antique piece of furniture is a late-19th century Victorian country store spool cabinet. These specialized multi-drawer cabinets were originally utilized in general stores and haberdasheries during the late 1800s to display and organize different colors and weights of sewing thread (spools) for customers.
