A vintage military collectible, most commonly associated with World War I-era US Cavalry horse tack. These stirrups were issued to the US Calvary and are frequently found stamped with "U.S." on the bottom tread alongside the maker's mark. They are typically characterized by a heavy, thick iron build designed to accommodate a 1/2-inch stirrup strap. Good to very good condition overall.
