A cast iron cavalry stirrup excavated by Frank Warren of Hixson, TN from Kingston, TN at the site of Fort South Westpoint. Fort Southwest Point is a reconstructed, pioneer-era frontier outpost located in Kingston, Tennessee. Constructed in 1797 overlooking the Clinch and Tennessee rivers, the fort operated until 1811. Today, visitors can tour the grounds, which feature reconstructed blockhouses, palisades, and historical exhibits. Bidders are welcome to preview items in person during our normal operating hours Tuesday through Saturday 11am-6pm. Estimated shipping parcel size (LxWxH) 10 inches x 6 inches x 4 inches.
