Description
This Middle Eastern coffee pot, known as a dallah, is constructed from hand-hammered copper with remnants of a traditional tin-wash finish on both the interior and exterior. The vessel features a bulbous base that tapers to a narrow waist before flaring slightly at the rim. It is equipped with a long, sweeping spout in the traditional bird's beak form. The high, conical lid is hinged and topped with a stepped finial and a flared thumbpiece. A simple, curved strap handle is attached to the neck and lower body with visible joins. Decoration is minimal, consisting of simple incised horizontal lines encircling the lid and the upper portion of the neck. No maker marks, inscriptions, or calligraphic elements are visible on the piece.
