A rare WWII German Luftwaffe overseas cap in good to very good condition overall. The Luftwaffe emblem and NSDAP insignia sits prominently on the front of the cap and appears to be original. The stitching appears to be in very good condition. The fabric on the exterior of the hat has some minor scattered signs of degradations specifically what appears to be some small holes on the left side of the cover and towards the right rear portion. There is a small white stain near the back right that is faint and could likely be removed by a professional or someone who is knowledge on restoration of similar pieces. There is some minor fraying of the embroidery throughout which is consistent with the items age and expected wartime use. The interior of the cap shows signs of use but is in very good overall condition. It is the opinion of the auction house that this piece is a legitimate war trophy bring-back.
