Overall fair condition consistent with age and the delicate nature of rice paper. Sheet with extensive toning, foxing, creasing, and scattered staining throughout. Multiple edge losses, tears, and areas of paper separation visible along the margins. Surface abrasions and areas of pigment wear and fading present, particularly to faces and darker pigments. Reverse with discoloration and image show-through. Despite noted condition issues, the painting retains strong visual and historical appeal.
