This set has a stunning brocade design with two scenes repeated around the internal sides, one of a dragon in the cloud and the other a landscape scene. There is a peach at the center. The bowls have been hand-painted with brilliant colors. This set has great scalloped edge with a gold trim. One of the bowls displays the same peach at the center, but different scenes around the sides, a gilded tree and the corner of a building, rather than the dragon and landscape scene. The underside of 9 pieces are marked with a Japanese character. The different bowl is not marked. We have other pieces in this pattern. All the bowls have crisp painted details, with only minor scuffs or losses to the paint from normal use. There is some loss to the gilded edge, but bright overall.
