Westtown School, New Jersey, 1831
Worked in silk threads on a coarse linen ground, with a strawberry border on three sides, a central floral wreath with the maker's name and date, two smaller wreaths with initials "MT" and "AT" above rhyming verses, and a circular foliate arrangement with three perched birds.
Sight 22 3/4 x 21 3/4 inches.
