Olmec regions / Costa Rica, ca. 600 BCE. Carved blue-green translucent jade double spoon grinding palette pendant, having a tapered long body with two carved recesses and curved rim lower border. Upper edge has two tiny biconical drilled suspension holes at the corners of the center lug. Custom tapered hardwood base. An elegant example.. 6”L x 2.25”W (15.2 x 5.7cm).
