These plates were made circa 1910-1930. The plates are decorated with purple, red and pink flowers and leaves on a gray floral background. I believe the decoration to be hand painted over a transfer. The plates have a nice ring of gilding around the center decoration as well as on the rims. Each plate is marked on the underside with Royal Doulton England for the maker and Tiffany & Company New York for the retailer. The condition is excellent. The gilding has tarnished a bit over the years, but it can easily be polished up. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no breaks, and no repairs. The plates measure 9 inches in diameter.
