This poster announced Weather Report's appearance at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on April 1st, 1976. The jazz-fusion band is heralded as one of the pioneers of the genre, and was active from 1970 until 1986, exploring various sonic qualities along the way. This show was notable as it was reportedly the first show bassist Jaco Pastorius ever played with the group. Pastorius was their third bassist, who pushed the group into a new level of popularity. The fretless bass master is widely considered to be one of the greatest bassists of all time.
