Tall Case Chippendale Clock in mahogany, by Simon Willard (Grafton, Mass,1753-1848) circa 1810, with highly flame figured door, arched bonnet with latticework, three spherical brass finials with steeples on reeded plinths, matching reeded columns with brass Doric fittings, inlaid brass wire, cove molded case on solid footboard base. 8 day time and strike with calendar bit, signed painted dial, card tacked in from C.A.& D.C. Smith, Successors to Jesse Smith, Watches and Chronometers, No. 262 Essex St, Salem. 7' 9" tall.
Paint lifting on dial, cracked side bonnet glass.
