These plates are constructed from heavy, vitrified china, a durable ceramic typically used for commercial service in restaurants, hotels, or clubs. The design features a scalloped rim and a white body decorated with a narrow yellow border along the edge. Each plate is further detailed with a blue script monogram LR positioned at the top of the well. The decoration is applied via transfer printing. The underside of each plate bears a stamped factory mark that reads STERLING, Vitrified China in script, EAST LIVERPOOL OHIO, U S A, and the production code K-3.
