Description

34x15x32. Late 19th-century American Victorian marble-top washstand. This furniture piece features a rectangular white marble top with gray veining and a high, rounded backsplash supported by two small marble brackets. The wooden base consists of a deep, curved apron supported by two turned and ringed front legs and two squared rectangular back legs designed to sit flush against a wall. The legs are joined to a solid, shaped pedestal base with a curved front edge. No maker marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the piece.
