Vintage Rustic Copper Hearth / Camp Kettle

Description

This is a vintage rustic copper pitcher/hearth/ camp kettle with a distressed finish and a metal handle. Hand formed copper body with tapered shape. Rived or attached iron bail handle for hanging. Small pouring spout. Iron side support / foot that allows the kettle to sit upright. Verdigris (green oxidation) around the handle mounts confirming copper construction. No visible makers mark.

Condition

Nice original copper patina, with expected scratches and wear reflective of age. Some verdigris around hardware. No major dents visible on main body however dents visible around bottom rim. spout is intact and handles seem to be original.
