Silver pendant in the form of a stylized hand, engraved throughout with geometric and linear ornament. The broad flat form and suspension loop suggest use as a protective amulet, the hand motif corresponding to the traditional khamsa associated with protection and blessing across North Africa. An attractive example of Moroccan silverwork with strong graphic character.
