Among the paintings, sketches and drawings of Mexican Masters like Tamayo, Siqueiros, Remedios Varo and Orozco in the family's art gallery, a great curiosity arrises to awaken the artistic inspiration of a little girl, Dunia Gatica. Her extreme use of light and shadow to obsessive color application in her art work, has lead to brilliant critiques of important collectors and gallerists from London and the United States. Great part of her work's subject matter is a compilation of the strong linkage with the Middle Eastern culture. Currently, she is part of the permanent roster of artistes in one of the most important contemporary art galleries in Miami. Her artistic evolution and projects has lead her to be part of the Miami River Art Fair during Art Basel in Miami from 2012 to 2022 as well as the Art Fair Monaco, Venezian Biennale, Art Dubai, World Tour in London, Paris, New York, Mexico, Grecia, Singapore, China and S. Korea.
