The first plaque is a gold-tone metal replica of the Pioneer 10 plaque, featuring symbolic imagery intended for extraterrestrial life, housed in a black frame with a gold-tone inner border. The second plaque is a silver-tone metal replica of the Apollo 11 lunar plaque mounted on a wood-grain base, featuring the inscription Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the Moon and facsimile signatures of the Apollo 11 crew and Richard Nixon. The group of NASA lithographs includes official portraits and mission photographs. Identified subjects include John Glenn, Virgil Gus Grissom, Frank Borman, and Elliot M.
