HATOUM MONA: (1952- ) British-Palestinian multimedia and installation artist. Signed oblong 8vo folding promotional poster issued for Hatoum´s first large solo survey exhibition in Germany, which was held at the Hamburger Kunsthalle from 26th March - 31st May 2004. The poster (approximately 42 x 30 cm when opened) features an image of Hatoum´s striking 1988 photographic artwork Over My Dead Body, the image depicting the artist in profile, glaring fiercely at a tiny toy soldier perched on her nose. The verso features a smaller image of the same artwork, along with three colour images, including Untitled (Crutches) (1991-2001) and Light Sentence (1992), as well as German and English printed text. Signed by Hatoum in blue fountain pen ink with her name alone to the smaller of the Over My Dead Body images. VG
