Description
DOYLE ARTHUR CONAN: (1859-1930) Scottish author, creator of Sherlock Holmes. A ruled small 8vo page removed from a notebook bearing Doyle's holograph scores from a game of billiards, n.p., March n.y. The list of fifteen scores appear to be mainly attributed to Doyle himself, signing his initials ('ACD') on two occasions in the left column. Two other names appear in the left column, including that of 'Malcolm', presumably Doyle's youngest son. VG
Adrian Malcolm Conan Doyle (1910-1970) was the youngest son of Arthur Conan Doyle, serving as his father's literary executor following the death of his mother in 1940.
