Description
This collection consists of ceramic tableware items molded in the form of husked ears of corn. The group includes several elongated serving boats designed for corn-on-the-cob and a single upright salt or pepper shaker shaped as a partially husked ear. The items are constructed from earthenware finished with a high-gloss polychrome glaze in vibrant yellow and green. Two slightly different mold patterns are present among the serving dishes: one group features a solid yellow center and a swirl-textured base, while the other group features white-highlighted kernels and triangular kiln rests on the underside. No maker marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on the pieces.
