A small pamphlet with beige covers; title printed on cover above playwright's name "A.R. Gurney," 55 pages, annotated in various colors of ink or pencil by Ann-Margret; from the popular stage production that she starred in with friend Burt Reynolds which took place at the Cuillo Centre for the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida in January 1997; also included are two items: a framed poster from that production which hung in the star's home theatre for many years, and a small ?Key to the City' award from "The City of West Palm Beach, Florida" (though Ann-Margret's name does not appear on it).
"Love Letters" is a 1988 Pulitzer Prize-winning stage play with only two characters; spanning 50 years in the life of a man and woman who are star-crossed lovers, it is typically cast with two well-known actors, and becomes as good as the chemistry is between the couple; no doubt this version with Ann-Margret and Reynolds was fantastic as their three-day run was sold out every night!
