Mid 19th century English Staffordshire pottery horse head wall brackets featuring a bold molded form with horseshoe surround and gilt decoration. Designed as wall-mounted decorative brackets, these unusual examples reflect the character and sculptural quality of early Staffordshire ceramics. A rare surviving pair with strong visual presence, suitable for wall display or as distinctive decorative accents. As with most early Staffordshire, there is no maker's mark.
