Meiji period, having a cobalt blue ground and painted and gilt decoration with two pictorial panels one depicting an interior scene with beauties, the other of a rice patty all framed by scrolling floral and tendril motifs and banners, with an impressed mark at the bottom.

Dimensions: height is 6in, diameter is 5in

Provenance: From a Main Line collection.

Condition

Multiple repairs to the top rim, otherwise good condition with some expected surface wear.
