Pair of English Victorian Sterling Silver Wine Coasters, 1839 by Samuel Walker & Co., Sheffield. Bodies & crested buttons fully hallmarked. Ornate grape leaf borders set off the richly cast grape cluster & leaf sides. Crest of a double headed eagle, Fairbairn, plate 68, #8, with no assignment. Fine period condition. 34.05 troy oz. including the wooden bases. 6.75" dia., 2.75" h.
