This striking Georgia folk art pottery rooster by noted artisan Charlie West features a vibrant combination of warm red and orange glazes accenting its features, beautifully contrasted by a soft white glaze that defines the feathered plumage over a warm red clay body. The piece is signed "Charlie West" and incised with a Jesus fish mark on the base beneath the feathers, honoring West's long-standing tradition as a craftsman since getting his start in 1986 as an after-school employee at Sims Pottery in Gillsville, Georgia.
