Description

A fine 19th century Southern walnut chest constructed with walnut primary wood and yellow pine secondaries, featuring a five-drawer configuration with heavily turned posts flanking either side, paneled sides, and molded edges around the drawers, all resting on turned feet. The chest displays strong Southern regional character and excellent proportions typical of the period. It measures approximately 54Â¾ inches high x 45Â¾ inches wide x 21Â½ inches deep.
