Primitive Southern Painted Cupboard

Description

A fine example of late 19th century American country furniture, this primitive painted cupboard is constructed of yellow pine with an attractively weathered and worn painted surface. The piece features a carved and shaped cornice above two doors opening to a storage compartment, displaying strong primitive character and honest country construction. It measures approximately 61 inches high x 35 inches wide x 13Â¾ inches deep. Some repair to the top and loss to the paint consistent with age.
