This charming hand-colored lithograph, produced by the renowned Neapolitan firm of Lit. Gatti e Dura, captures the vibrant everyday life of 19th-century Naples. Designed by Gaetano Dura and signed "G. Dura" in the lower left, the composition depicts a young Neapolitan street merchant engaged in her trade; she is shown holding out a piece of white textile while expertly balancing a large, neatly folded stack of striped muslin fabrics atop her head. Housed in an elegant salmon-colored matte and a faux-gilt frame, this piece measures approximately 13 3/8" H x 10 1/8" W. Good condition with light wear to frame.
