An American stenciled pillar and splats shelf clock, 19th century, with mahogany-stained case, gilt stencil decoration, turned side columns, shaped crest, painted wooden dial with floral corner decoration, and lower reverse-painted tablet with architectural landscape. Interior paper label reads ?Patent Clocks,? with maker line appearing to reference Eli Terry and Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Connecticut. Retains side door with old map lining and interior works. 34.5 in. H, 17 in. W, 4.5 in. D.
