Provenance: Dr. Robert H. Derden, Chicago, to present owner. Dr Derden is a clinical psychologist and was a professor of Psychology at Chicago State and Harold Washington College. Forty-Seven works from Derden's collection were exhibited at the Community Gallery of Art at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL in 1990.

Robert Glover worked on the South side of Chicago and studied with Margaret Burroughs.
