This vintage pieced patchwork quilt is constructed in a string or spider web pattern, utilizing a wide variety of cotton scrap fabrics. The textiles include printed and woven cottons in various patterns such as stripes, ginghams, florals, polka dots, and paisleys. The quilt is hand-pieced and features visible hand-quilting executed in an irregular running stitch pattern. The reverse is composed of several large sections of different printed fabrics, creating a secondary patchwork design. No maker's marks or signatures are present. A small white auction lot tag is attached to one edge.
