The blocks are separated by solid purple and green sashing, with one vertical sashing strip featuring a multicolored floral print. The perimeter is finished with a wide scrappy border made of various printed cotton fabrics. The three layers are held together by hand-tied yarn knots in red, black, and green. The backing consists of a single piece of cotton fabric with a mottled blue and white appearance.
