Description: Antique French Louis XIV Style Rosewood Tombeau Serpentine Marble Top Commode Gorgeous French Louis XIV style chest of drawers, known as the ''Tombeau'', which by definition offers generously curved lines, a domed front and bulging sides. This Beautiful Chest is Made of a Mahogany Wood structure with a rosewood inlay marquetry. The curved facade opens with 4 drawers in three rows. It is furnished with trompe l'oeil locks and bronze handles. The sides are flared and curved, Accented with Stunning Brass Acanthus Ormolu Design and Beaded Brass Outlined trim with Ormolu Foot Guards. It is finished With a Classic Green and White Veined Beveled Serpentine Marble Top. A Truly Gorgeous Stand Out Piece that would Be a Perfect Addition to Any Decor. Circa Early 20th Century Dimensions: H 36.5"W 50"D 24" CONDITION: Please be aware that all items are used/vintage/antique and have small signs of age/patina which should be expected. The right side does have repair.
