Collection of Phil Rizzuto Baseball Photos (4) 1) Signed photo on heavy stock, dimensions approximately 20" x 16" on this item. There are actually four people in this photo, but the three front and center are Tommy Byrne, Joe DiMaggio and Phil Rizzuto, and Joe and Phil have autographed it. Certified by James Spence Authentication. 2) Large approximately 20" x 16" glossy photograph of Rizzuto from the Cooperstown Collection. The portrait has him swinging the bat, naturally in Yankee uniform. The autograph reads "Holy Cow Phil 'Scooter' Rizzuto MVP 1950 #10 HOF 94." 3) Approximate size of this photo is 20" x 16." The pitcher is Hall of Famer Bob Feller, as he pitches to New York Yankee legend Joe DiMaggio. Interesting to see is the 407 ft. mark in center. More interesting to note is that Bob Feller has signed this poster! 4) Poster 20" x 15" offers a glimpse into different eras of baseball cards, starting with a photograph of the 1869 Red Stocking team and reprinted versions of the "Big Three" from the 1909-11 T206 White Border issue of Wagner, Magee and Plank. Also illustrated is the legendary 1933/34 Goudey Nap Lajoie card (again in reprint form, naturally), plus a reprint of the hobby's iconic 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle. the 1952 Topps (reproduction) of Mickey Mantle. There's even an original 1986 Sportflicks 3D card of Phil Rizzuto, and front-and-back versions of Don Mattingly's 1989 Score card. While Mattingly is more than worthy of being mentioned in this august group, that particular pasteboard probably is in a bit beyond its pay grade. Note: On the back of this display 8 typed statements about "Most Valuable Baseball Cards" are included, with quaint but not necessarily historically accurate information. This visual was produced by SCORE trading cards for a TV feature on history of cards in which Phil did the interview. Than he took the visual home! Directly from the personal collection of Phil and Cora Rizzuto.
