Description: Large early to mid-20th-century plaster figure of a seated greyhound or whippet. The alert dog is modeled with an elongated muzzle, slender neck, deep chest, tucked abdomen, folded hindquarters, and long forelegs. Its dark brown and black painted surface was intended to simulate patinated bronze.

Dark-painted surface exhibits widespread rubbing, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and areas exposing the lighter plaster substrate. One ear has a visible tip loss or break. Additional scattered chips and abrasions are present around the muzzle, paws, ears, and other projecting areas. Possible old repairs and overpainting have not been conclusively identified.
