Description: American late-Victorian walnut sofa, circa 1870-1890. The serpentine frame has a distinctive triple-medallion back, with the larger circular center panel rising above two rounded flanking panels. Molded exposed rails continue into scrolling upholstered arms above a broad serpentine seat and shaped cabriole legs fitted with casters. Upholstered in coordinating beige and gold floral damask fabric.
