Typed Letter Signed "Frank Lloyd Wright" in pencil to Edgar Tafel regarding the purchase of a piano. 8vo, written on single side of Taliesin stationary, with holograph postscript; light wear, light hand-soiling, erased pencil notes on conjugate blank, creased at folds.Tafel was Wright's former apprentice and worked with Wright on such important designs as Fallingwater, the Johnson Wax Building, and several "Usonian" houses.

It is the same size as the one we have now in the L[iving]. R[oom]. at Taliesin.Let us stick to it until we locate a concert grand Beckstein or Steinway or Mason Hamlin.There is a full size concert grand in a private residence that a Mr. Paul knows about - that we might get. He said it had been used scarcely at all and price $1000.00. Why not look it up through him -Chas. W. Paul: 61 W.51st. Street: N.Y.C.Sincerely,""and greetings to your family."
