Dear Llewis: [sic] ---? like Lloyd -Long time since we have seen or heard from the Mumfords. I have an uneasy feeling that sickness may, again, be the cause but, I hope not.I am sure the holidays brought to you and yours what you so richly deserve - happiness. We have not been too well ourselves which may, after all, be the basis of our fears for you.The desert this year is especially alluring. You all ought to see it. The place we live in here would be a good place for you to come to when the spirit moves you. There is so much to tell and talk about since we last met. But we are so completely detached that we not only see no thing of you but hear nothing about you. I am taking the liberty of sending you a pressing of the record made of the talk I gave the Junior A.I.A. last fall. The records are a new phase of our enterprize [sic]. There is now quite a gallery of them but this one I think would be of especial interest to you.Let me know something of your plans and activities for the near future so we may arrange meeting if possible?Our love to Sophie and the lovely young Mumford.
