A large ewer-form decanter of ambitious design, the shoulder heavy with molded grape clusters and vine in blue and green, the swelling body and scrolled foot laid over in gold, and a pierced flame-shaped stopper above. No maker mark is legible in the photographs. Stands approximately 13 inches. The gilding is much rubbed and flaked, the foot chipped, and there is a rough break at one side of the body; a fragment of tax strip remains behind the handle. See photos for exact size and condition.
