A McCormick bottle modeled as Benjamin Franklin seated with a scroll in hand, his tabby cat at his feet beside a copy of the Almanack of 1733. The painter worked in a genial register of plum coat, blue breeches, white stockings and buckled shoes, and the plinth is titled Ben Franklin in raised letters. Stands approximately 12 inches. The original stars-and-stripes carton pictures the eight companion patriots and shows staining and edge tears; a scuff of loss sits at the crown of the wig. See photos for exact size and condition.
