Description
(1897-1984) was a German general and participated in the 20 July Plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler. He was the only member of the plot to survive the war. Ephemera includes a post-war photo of Speidel signed at the bottom, 4 x 5.75 inches, first day cover for the 20th Anniversary of the United Nations, signed by Speidel in blue ink, dated 7.7.1975, and a signed letter written in blue ink on 'Dr. Hans Speidel' stationery, 5.75 x 8.25 inches.
