Provenance and Authentication:
According to the Letter of Authenticity (LOA) and Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided by the consignor, this collectible was subjected to a forensic examination. The accompanying documentation states that the signatures were evaluated with reference to multiple characteristics, including ink deposition, material and aging characteristics, stylistic consistency, and historical context. Based on the examination described in these documents, the authentication provider concluded that the findings were consistent with the attributed signatures. The LOA and COA provided by the consignor accompany the lot.

This Off the Wall LP bears a prominent black-ink signature associated with Michael Jackson across the front cover. Issued by Epic Records, the record displays catalog number FE 35745 and a 1979 CBS Inc. copyright notice.

Released in 1979, Off the Wall marked a defining stage in Jackson's development as a solo artist. Blending pop, disco, funk, and R&B, the album includes such landmark recordings as "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," "Rock with You," and "Off the Wall," and represents the beginning of his celebrated collaboration with producer Quincy Jones.

The signature is positioned prominently across the light-colored shirt, providing strong contrast against the cover portrait.
